Abstract

This study has the purpose to examine the drinking level of alcoholics and understand the factors influencing the drinking and relative influence of the trauma and attachment on the drinking to provide basic data for mental health services. For this, a questionnaire was conductcd on alcoholics in alcohol addiction specialized hospitals and clinics located in seven metropolitan cities in area for three month from september, 2013 and the results of the research are as following. First, as a result of hierarchical regression analysis, it was confirmed that the age, the cohabit form, the religion, the first drunken age, the initial adimition time and insight were the factors to influence the drinking. Second, as emotional abuse trauma, sexual abuse trauma, dependence attachment, anxiety attachment of alcoholics are high, the drinking was high. Based on these results, the practical implications were discussed to prevent the drinking of alcoholics.
